Monthly Teaching Tip: Easiest way to teach letter sounds

Keeping it simple!

• Teach only ONE sound to each consonant
  
• Teach only hard sounds to G and C
  
• Teach only short sounds to the vowels
  
• Distill the consonant sound to just the letter without the UH at the end

Once they master those, only then would you teach other sounds to consonants and vowels.
